4th SEETAC meeting in Kolašin, Montenegro
SEETAC's 4th Project meeting, organized by the Montenegrin
Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Telecommunications, in
cooperation with the Project Lead Partner - the Central European
Initiative (CEI) took place on 7th and 8th
July 2010 in Kolašin, Montenegro. Mr. Srđan Vukčević, Montenegrin
Deputy Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and
Telecommunications, opened the meeting by illustrating the present
country's transport infrastructure situation and the foreseen
development programmes, also in relation to the European transport
system integration.
The participants debated on main administrative, organisational,
communicational and financial matters. SEETAC 's current state of
art was also presented. Project Partners spelled out the
development of their outputs, with particular reference to the
collection of national data for the creation of the SEETAC
database, (WP3). The databse will play a crucial role in the
realization of the future multi-modal infrastructure network
scenarios and guidelines (WP4).
The Austrian, Albanian and Croatian Project Partners gave a
short demonstration of the respective national priorities in
transport development plans and their implementation.
The Croatian Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and
Infrastructure confirmed that the next project meeting will be
held by the end of September in Zadar, whereas the representative
of the Albanian Ministry of Public Works and Transport gave further
information regarding the next ministerial conference foreseen for
mid November 2010 in Tirana.
