First steps towards SEETAC's integrated database
At the end of the first year of the project SEETAC the work on
the WP3 started with a few bilateral meetings among partners
responsible for the above mentioned working package. In November
the CEI launched a tender for the selection of an external
expert, with the task of data collection in view of the
establishment of a database management system through harmonisation
with existing national, transnational and regional transport
databases.
On December 15th , the task has been assigned to
Sistemi Operativi S.r.L.
However, main activities will start with the technical meeting,
which will be held on January 19th 2010 in Rome,
at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. At the meeting the
CEI external expert will present the very first database proposal
and partners will have the possibility to express their opinion and
make suggestions. Each partner's contribution will be extremely
important for the future activities related to the WP3.
