First Ministerial Conference in Bucharest, Romania
The first most important meeting on the SEETAC's calendar is
foreseen for the 3rd and 4th February 2010,
when the first Ministerial Conference of the SEE Ministries of
Transport will be held in Bucharest, Romania. The Conference is
being organised by the Romanian Ministry of Transport, in
collaboration with the Central European Initiative and
Informest.
The general aim is to promote and increase cooperation in the
SEETAC area. More specifically, the participants will be invited to
discuss policy guidelines for the SEETAC project.
The discussion will start with the illustration of the current
situation linked to the Pan European corridors, bottlenecks,
cross-border problems, market development, traffic studies and
recent investment plans. One of the main goals of the event is to
identify the priorities of each ministry within the SEETAC project
and to discuss a possible SEETAC strategy.
During the round table discussion it will be possible to
identify policy actions to be implemented in the rail, maritime and
logistic sector.
