The 8th Danube River Technical Meeting of the
Partnership for Improvement of Danube Infrastructure and Navigation
(PIDIN) took place on 14th December 2009 in
Vienna. It was organised by the Southeast European Cooperation
Initiative (SECI), which invited Mr. Carlo Fortuna, SEETAC Content

The first most important meeting on the SEETAC's calendar is
foreseen for the 3rd and 4th February 2010,
when the first Ministerial Conference of the SEE Ministries of
Transport will be held in Bucharest, Romania. The Conference is
being organised by the Romanian Ministry of Transport, in
collaboration with the Central European Initiative and
Informest.
The general aim is to promote and increase cooperation in the

At the end of the first year of the project SEETAC the work on
the WP3 started with a few bilateral meetings among partners
responsible for the above mentioned working package. In November
the CEI launched a tender for the selection of an external
expert, with the task of data collection in view of the
establishment of a database management system through harmonisation
with existing national, transnational and regional transport
databases.
