Railway Investment in South East Europe Conference
The Conference entitled "Railway Investment in South East
Europe", organized by the European Railway Review (Russell
Publishing Ltd) took place on 14th and 15th June 2011, in
Belgrade. It is worth adding that this is the leading conference
for anyone involved in the rail sector throughout the region.
Around 130 persons attended the conference, who come from the wider
area related to the Railways (infrastructure owners and operators,
consultants, construction companies, equipment suppliers, academia,
investors). The main focus was on Corridor X and foreseen
development and investment plans in the countries and associated
networks, stretching along this axis.
M. Miltiadou from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,
which is also a partner in the SEETAC Project was one of the
speakers at the conference and during his contribution he presented
the current development of SEETAC.
