Srdjan Vukčević, in memoriam
It is with great regret that the CEI SEETAC team and the entire
Project partnership learnt of the death of one of its colleagues,
Deputy Minister Srdjan Vukčević, at the age of 41. We had the
honour to get to know the qualities of this extraordinary person
and outstanding professional while working at this project, and had
the pleasure to be hosted in Montenegro where we could gain an
insight of the work he had been carrying out in the Ministry.
After years of experience at the Port of Bar, starting as the
Head Engineer for Investments, then as the Director of the free
port became the Deputy Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and
Telecommunications.
He leaves behind a wife and two children. We share the enormous
grief of this terrible tragedy and we send our feelings of sympathy
and solidarity to his family and colleagues.
