The SEETAC project will be presented during the Joint Transnational Conference
The SEETAC project was selected as one of the best transport
projects implemented within a Transitional Programme and
therefore invited to showcase its results and outcomes during the
Joint Transnational Conference. The Lead Partner will be presenting
the main social and economic impacts of project in the light
of transnational cooperation dimension.
The Conference will take place 15th and 16th September 2011 in
Katowice under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the EU
Council. The event will gather high level speakers and panels
including EU officials, Polish Ministries and representatives from
the 13 transnational programmes currently operating in the
framework of the European Territorial Cooperation objective, and
will represent a unique opportunity for debating on how
transnational cooperation helps to improve quality of life in
European regions, what has been achieved so far and what is the
future potential.
The SEETAC project will be presented during the Workshop 2:
"Transport-Sustainable, innovative, practical and money-saving
cooperative solutions for the EU to move forward" and will focus on
its contribution to the removal of operational cross-border
barriers (legal and institutional) and its impact on the daily life
of the citizens of the South East Europe area.
This participation witnesses the strategic relevance that the
SEETAC project is playing in its endeavour to fully integrate the
Western Balkan countries in the European Transport system and its
