The bridge over the Danube near the village of Beska in Vojvodina, on the Northern branch of Corridor 10, was opened for traffic on October 3rd 2011. The Bridge is on the highway between Belgrade and Horgos is 2.2 kilometers long (the longest in Serbia), 15 meters wide and 55 meters above the river waters, with around three kilometers of new access roads. The construction began in 2008, and was carried out by the Austrian company Alpine. The contractual value of the construction of the bridge was € 33.7 million and was financed by a EBRD loan.
