The 2011 European Transport Conference, organized by the Association for European Transport (AET) will take place on October 10-12th in Glasgow. This year's activities will be tackled in two distinct but overlapping aspects of transport: Transport Policy and Operations, which will include seminars and discussion groups of direct relevance to transport planners and engineers with case studies as well as policy development, and Research to Inform Decision-Making in Transport, consisting of seminars with a methodological focus covering innovative and applied methods. These sessions are more addressed more towards those working in transport research, however they also have practical applications to transport.
